What to Expect Once You’re Hired

Getting hired at Scottrade is the first step in becoming a part of our family. We take pride in preparing our new associates for success, even before their first day.
As a new Scottrade associate, you will be sent an email link to our extensive Web-based Onboarding system to become familiar with Scottrade and your new career.

Your first days at work will be guided by your Scottrade Onboarding experience, which includes members of HR available to answer any questions, as well as training on Scottrade policies and procedures.

As one associate, Jim Dyer, says of his Onboarding experience, “Scottrade does a great job of getting you up to speed, showing how to access your email and voice mail, enrolling in the benefits programs, and helping you meet and get to know the people you are going to work with so you can hit the ground running. Then in my own department, we have another Onboarding process in which our supervisor shares the vision he has and everyone talks about their team and how they fit in. Within a very short period of time, you understand your job and how you tie in with everyone else.”
